There has been much more activity in our area over the past year with new projects in both Dover and Wilmington as well as the start of construction of a new base lodge at the Hermitage club. Renovations and rebuilding as a result of the 2011 floods continue and both villages have new features such as Dover's Route 100 park and Wilmington's footbridge across the Deerfield River to the Valley trail.

Area activities and festivals continue to attract more visitors with the first annual Independent TV and Film fest in September along with two Tough Mudders during the summer months and several village Strolls during summer and fall.

Real estate activity has increased in volume for the second year. It's still very much a buyers' market with a good amount of inventory. Fortunately we offer a wide range of prices and types of properties from simple camps to newly-built luxury home. Because of Vermont's commitment to the natural environment, this part of the world doesn't look like everywhere else and we are happy about that.
